State of emergency amid Ethiopia’s political unrest

  1. In this latest detail of prohibited actions during the SOE one will not be hard pressed to recognize that the one outlawed in the first paragraph has already been violated.

It goes: The State of Emergency forbids any action in breach of the constitution and constitutional order, or activities that erode tolerance and unity of the people as well as having link with and providing support for terrorist organizations.’ This is already violated. Who is the transgressor, you may ask? Those who have been proven to be despots among the leadership who have been treading over the rights of the common citizen clearly enshrined in the current constitution. Beating prisoners is unconstitutional. Killings of prisoners of war is unconstitutional and a crime against humanity both under the country’s penal code and the Geneva Convention. I am not saying such crimes were committed by every member of the leadership ruling the old country but by a few Marxism dogmatists. Apparently some of those in the leadership are new to the positions they are holding now. But those Marxism honed weasels are still in the positions of calling the shots. But by all accounts, their days seem to be numbered. No ifs or buts about it. The redux of ‘Ben Ali Dégage’ is postpositively the writing on the wall!!!!!
